The situation they find themselves in is believable and the overall story, though short is an excellent read!I'm so excited to find that there is a 2nd story to this one, The White Knight. Yep, I bought it...and can't wait to get more of Sean and Dan. Apparently, it's the story of what brought Dan and Sean together! Looking forward to reading that. I suspect it'll be another 5 star read.The Vintage Affair ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The situation that Jake put Austin in with Carson was so effed up in so many ways!!! I felt so bad for Austin in that moment, I wanted to beat Jake's butt for thatI I do wish there was more of an actual resolution to their relationship at the end. Still, this was a nice contemporary sort of mystery story.Blood Red Butterfly ⭐️⭐️I liked that the characters, Ryo was Japanese and Tashiro 1/8 Japanese LOL I loved the description of Tashiro. There is just something so sexy and beautiful about men with long dark hair.I am usually completely head over heels for the characters this author creates but I didn't like anything about Ryo or Tashiro personalities. The story felt rushed and unreal, there was no passion between them, the characters weren't easy to connect with or care about, even the romantic parts just didn't work. Not a fan of this story concept and that's a shame because it could have been a true action romance but it just didn't happen for me. I truly did like the Japanese part of it and wished the focus had been more on a Japanese American love story rather than a crime and... I don't know... -shrugs- I'm a bit dissolution with this story.Don't Look Back ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Soooo good! Mystery, betrayal, unrequited love, requited love, regret, beautiful & horrific memories lost, and passion; everything that makes an engaging read! My favorite story so far.Lovers and Other Strangers ⭐️⭐️⭐️The good twin, the bad twin, amateur wanna be detectives, a broken heart, a terrible mistake, and a small town. All the makings of an interesting story.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Cards On The Table (My Audio Review). This is the story that made me fall in love with Mr. Lanyon writing -sigh- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️**What made the experience of listening to Cards on the Table the most enjoyable?The relationship between Tim and Jack. I love how Mr. Lanyon is able to bring two characters together, create just enough angst to keep your heart in 'worried mode' and then reward you with a heart stopping breather.It is now a fact that I am completely and utterly in love with Mr. Lanyon, well...I mean the characters he creates anyway. I loved everything about this set. It has some of my favorite Josh Lanyon books as well as ones I somehow missed. The characters in each are, as usual, comes and multi dimensional but it is Mr Lanyon's beautiful writing that makes him an auto buy for me

It's good Lanyon. Not up to Adrien, but worth the time and money. Enjoyed it.

The characters were wonderful and very believable. In some cases the relationships were just as or even more important than the mysteries and/or suspense. I would highly recommend this box set. It's a great deal.

This book offers little more than blank lines on a page. I had expected there to be more prompts and structure. Instead, the dates are printed on each entry, meaning that unless you're starting on January 1st you're starting in the middle of the book. Each entry is just a date followed by a half dozen blank lines. There's a quote tossed in once a week or so. Would rather just use a blank journal. Useless.

The book is well laid out with various inspirational quotes from various thought leaders. A useful place to record your gratitude for your many blessings. There is also a section to reflect on your transformations on your journey of gratitude.

Easy to use, and makes a daily gratitude journal entry seem less cumbersome and more fun and relaxing.

Simple and concise advice, to be followed. Gratitude practice for a better life! Easy to read, harder to practice , with this as a useful guide, easier to achieve!

To generic. No vredit to God, just the "universe". Too New age for me. Will be returning it.

Convenient daily reminder to be grateful for everything and anything on a daily basis.

BBB as in Big-Bathroom-Book. This is small, and the info is also minutia. The fold out maps are nice but lack tremendous detail, and the brief descrips leave you wanting more. Looks like something the Forest Service put together, so I'm disappointed with Falcon on this one. NO trail guide but lots of other park info: what's here is a brief overview and for that, acceptable. This series will be likely supplanted by an 'online' one, accessable via iphone, in which the 'links' or refs to other places of info will be just a jump away (ie where to stay when in Estes Park). In the book form it just always leave you wanting more. Pics are nice and does make you want to go there. Phone numbers I did call were up to date.

My small group is reading this study. It has been very good and the class discussion, aided by good questions from the book, has been outstanding.

This is a nice book for used condition but upon studying, I realized it's missing an entire chapter. Pages totally removed! Very good price but I paid for it in Study in that I've completely missed out on a chapter.

This book of Psalms has exceeded my expectations. With simple probing questions Max Lucado has prompted indepth discussions and learning experiences from each of the Psalms we have studied. The questions leave our Lutheran doctrine in tact and I feel this would be true for other demoninations too. I am very pleased and I feel the other members of our group are also.

I was hoping for more content related to the Psalms themselves. This is a nice reflective book... but the folks I'm teaching want more information about the texts we're reading.

I was very disappointed: the lack of depth of this study, the minimal outlines,and reliance on the readers' journaling rather than any reflection by the author.This is not what I hoped to use with an adult class at church.

I had read Psalms much of my life but had never really dug into the circumstances of the writer or why they were saying what they were saying. In essence it gave much more meaning to the Psalms.

The B Corp Handbook is excellent through and through. It is a great resource for those wanting an overview of the why and what of certifying as a B Corp. The overview provides the ten benefits of becoming a B Corp, from B Corps themselves. Ryan provides a concise review of components that are part of The B Impact Assessment, answering a host of questions one would have about the Assessment tool itself and the value, purpose and importance of each component. This work doesn’t treat the topic of certification mechanically. The whole idea of B Corps is to think and act differently and ultimately through a paradigm shift on what it means to be in business. Ryan integrates the paradigm shift eloquently in this how to manual. Additionally, a host of B Corp interviews are peppered throughout the book to give one insight into the perspective of those that have gone through the process of certifying. To align with this work being a true manual, Ryan walks one through a 6 week process of evaluation and action referred to as a Quick Start Guide. This Handbook fits the bill as the User Manual for assessing, deciding then taking action to evolve one’s business or start a new one that aligns with integrating social and environmental performance into the ethos of the company.
