I really wanted to like this book. I was excited before I even received it. Somewhere along the way I missed there were particular examples for titles and roles for more than half of the book. If you are in a leadership position or rate the work of others: BUY THIS NOW! Go outside your comfort zone and learn something new about giving effective AND accurate performance appraisals!

If you do reviews this is a MUST have! I spend hours doing reviews each year. This little lovely really helped me get to the heart of the matter and provide really constructive feedback. I am so happy that I got this. I will purchase the one with more phrases for this coming years reviews. I can't give it enough praise. Do yourself a favor and pick one up

I use this book in combination with other books of this type as a crutch when I'm suffering from writers block and I can't wordsmith a coherent sentence or simply in need of a different way to say "Good Job". What I like about this one is the job/task specific phrases that go beyond the generic phrases. This book has come in handy.

Great tool for Junior PO or enlisted members in the armed forces to adequately write performance marks.

While there are some good phrases to use, I was disappointed overall. Because of the great reviews, I ordered two copies of this book to keep in my office and lend to Managers to aid in review writing. After digging into the book, I wish I hadn't ordered both copies. Again, there are some good tips, valuable advice and good phrasing, however, some of the suggested phrases are far too subjective to be appropriate in our reviews. The appendix of "high impact" verbs will be far more helpful than the actual suggested phrasing.

Not sure if you can call this book “New” but it is in very good condition. Nonetheless the content inside the book is very good and a helpful tool.

Perfect for quick reviews, semi annual reviews. I wouldn't completely rely on this book for a thorough annual review though... just my take. Good product though.
