I have 5 other books by this author and all of them are great. However, this one is not so great. Here's a recap of the book in a nutshell: 1) Men don't like long texts 2) Don't ever answer a text right away. Wait at least as much time as they do between texts (my son agreed with this one) 3) Don't babble on about your day like you're talking to your girlfriend. 4) Try not to be the last person who texts.These are all good points. However, what I really didn't like about the book was that most of the example texts were very sexually suggestive. Yet in this book and the others that I've read by the author, he emphasises that having sex early in the relationship will definitely ensure that the man will not look for a long term relationship with you. Maybe I'm old fashioned, but I agree with this. So if you are trying to attract a man early in your relationship why would you use sexually tantalizing messages? What's the guy going to think when you meet him? Are you going to say "no I didn't really mean that, maybe in a few month,s if you're good." You don't know this man. You could be in physical danger if he gets angry after expecting something that he's not going to get.Gregg's other books are so much better. I would recommend "Love Is In the Mouse 2017" over this book. That covers online dating and also has a section on texting.
It is a book for high school or college girls not for classy , professional and career women! I don't see how classy and successful middle age women can use those texts! Some parts about how men think and their psychology are interesting.
I think every girl should read this book if they are dating. Heck, I even tried it on my handyman and ex husband and it works. Every girl should read this, time to take back our feminine power....
The sample starts off great...but I find that that most of the texts it tells women to do are sex orientated to a stereotype. Some are slightly risque.It's an extremely shallow short book with dodgy advice. I'm a fool for spending money on this.
I tend to prefer face to face interactions since it's easier to read and convey personality. Today's dating style and time restraints don't allow that flexibility, so texting is it...although I do like texting. I learned a few mistakes I've made and a few ideas of how to simplify my texting to get a response. Good read!
Perfect quick read for texting do's an don'ts. If you are a texting newbie or even if you aren't versed in the art of playful texting, this book will help fill in the holes and answer questions you may not know you have.
I'm always stumped when it comes to texting men. I didn't realize how many mistakes I was making until I read this book. Now I understand why I stopped getting responses when things seemed to be going so well. If only I could go back and do things over again! Ugh.
Great tips on how to lure the guy you are intrigued by and the same time keep your self respect and stay funny, sexy and provoking! Thank Gregg another great book I enjoyed enormously! Looking forward to the next one! I would recommend it to anyone who is single and looking because let's face it text is inevitable form of communication nowadays. I'm giving it 5 stars since its brutally honest which is what we all need before we go out there pouring ourselves out!
